My name is Anselm, and I am a geophysicist, author, keynote speaker, award-winning documentary filmmaker, founder of a small town, tiny house builder, and a passionate extreme adventurer. I’ve had the incredible fortune of traveling over 135,000 kilometers across 100 countries, pushing the limits of endurance and exploration. Throughout these adventures, my Salsa Fargo equipped with SRAM Apex 1 has been a trusted companion, taking me over 35,000 kilometers on rugged terrain.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Cosmic Sports, Sony, Salsa-Bikes, Ryzon, Rab, Tailfin, and Cascade Designs, and in 2019, I became a Europe Salsa ambassador. Now, after successfully completing the first section of South America—covering the challenging Ecuador and Peru Divide with my best friend and travel partner, Raphael—I am gearing up for even bigger projects in the coming year.

In 2025, we will continue our journey through the Peru Divide, documenting the experience for German TV and social media. This expedition will be an incredible testing ground for cutting-edge gear, and I’m excited about the opportunity to collaborate with SRAM to showcase the durability and performance of your products.

With this in mind, I would love to discuss a potential partnership, specifically with a focus on testing the SRAM GX Eagle Transmission AXS and a compatible braking system that could withstand the challenging terrain ahead. The UDH drop out will be provided through a custom-made special fabrication, as shown in the photo below in the gallery.
